Cheetah V1 Integration

I am running a Cheetah mirror integrated with my V1 with a standard V1 remote display unit in my 2008 Evo X. In thinking things over I noticed that a slim V1 remote could be affixed to the the lower left hand corner of the Cheetah mirror and not block my view in the mirror of anything other than my ugly face. Unfortunately, no one is now offering a slim, hard wired remote unit for sale on this forum that I know of. I think that a slim, hardwired remote with the mute button part removed, as was once offered for sale here IIRC, with the wire leading out from the bottom of the unit could be attached to the lower left corner of the Cheetah with double side foam tape and look like a factory item.

I wasn't sure how many people read the "Cheetah" forum regularly and since both the Cheetah and V1 were involved I thought it belonged in either or maybe both. Some boards frown on cross posting if there is no real reason to do so, and since I have not posted here much it seemed polite to openly declare that I had done so. Sorry if anyone took offense.
