Default Cheetah Sentinel Mounting - One for allyoops!

A user on youtube back home was asking me about a good priced radar detector and as I've heard in the past the sentinel is a solid performaner against K band I've recommended this system to him.

Just a quick query regarding the mounting of the sentinel. As below it states it should be mounted vertically for best performance.

However the MultaRadar C (We have a couple of these) is >Low Power Horizontally Polarised K-Band.. tests in the past have shown that the V1 for example mounted vertically severley cuts down the range. WOuld it be advisable to mount the sensor horizontally?

    Cheers

    Yeah, i'd put it horizontally.
I just tested it out and it does match up better horizontally for those guns.

Cheers! . Did you actually test it with a ROBOT Multaradar C system?? As there pretty much just an auto ticket machine connected to a Radar

No, don't have one of them.
I actually have a custom made k band transmitter that does vertical and horizontal, so i can test out various units.
Since we have some low powered Euro k band units here i needed something to simulate them for testing.

i tested a sentinel vert and horiz and it matches better going same direction, as in a vert mount for vert polarization, and a horiz mount for horiz polarization.
