Stacking plate shields

I like the idea of laser shield to cover your license plate. I also would like to get protection from photo radar and laser cameras which are highly mounted. Can you stack a laser shield over the super photo radar shield and have them do what they're supposed to?

Can't say I have tried. However, they do make the Super Protector, which does the job of both covers.

In stacking covers, I'd worry about all the grime that will get in-between the two, making it too obvious.

I have tried. It never worked for me. It was too thick, and no matter how i placed the covers my plate number was pretty much unlegible. It was too the point where it would have drawn major attention, and i would have gotten a ticket for that instead. I've also found, laser sheild to be a waste anyhow. In every test i've done/witnessed it didn't do anything. Infact in our test last year Aoshi found out the hard way. We got like a 3,000ft pt on him with Laser Interceptor's with one on. He took the thing off and he JTG'd us. So personally I own three of them. I had one for my ex wife's car. My old Suv. And the trailer i towed with the suv; and I nolonger use a single one of them as i've tested them to be useless peices of plastic every time. No matter which way i flipped them. Instead i use super protector. It does function, and do quite well in my opinion. It does a very good job, although the new RedFlex camera's it is no match. Cover's are now defeated by 50 percent of Redlight camera's out there. Your best bet against Cam's is get a superprotector Because something is better than nothing in my opinion, and they do work and are narly looking you'll see when you get it, just how it functions, and then i'd invest in a GPS Redlight cam avoidence system such as Navalert, Cheeta Gps, Trapster helps if you already have a gps for now, but it's no where near as good as the databases i've just mentioned it's only user oriented traps and your linked with other users, so it depends on other motorists to know what redlight cam's look like. Good luck. Learn what they look like educate yourself it will help you too. Google Redflex, and ACS which is a division of Lockheed Martin last time i knew. Redflex is out of Australia. Redflex is becomeing the most common one i'm seeing on the east coast to date. Toledo has Redflex, DC has Redflex. Many other cities in ohio. Lastly i'd perhaps reccomend a 9500i to you although with the 9500i you do have to pay a yearly fee eventually at some point i know, to access the updates. Navalert is Free updateable. I think Cheeta is as well, although cheeta may not be if it's not please correct me someone, as i've been away from the forum for a short period of time.

It runs multipule full dedicated Digital Video camera's constantly rolling film. Also it has Infra-red technology to own you at night. Hence the name "RedFlex." .

How does it catch you with something like superprotector? Simple.

They have camera's placed within redflex's huge angle taking full time film as i stated above, at the proper angles to catch your plate using long distance photography, and when you get straight enough from the camera at a long distance then it can read your plate. Bam your toast and enjoy your fine. Superprotector is not enough anymore.

Notice the officer even says in this film. That Redflex Has full time video backup. Notice the camera for this is to such an angle that eventually it will be able to attain a clear read is it's nearly looking at your plate cover straight on. Now do you understand what i'm warning you? Even in Radar Roy's demenstrations of the Super Protector, he show's that you can clearly and plainly visibly see and read your plate from straight on. This is how they have combated Superprotector. How can you fight back against Redflex? Don't speed around them, and don't run the red light! Simple as that. Well how do i know they are there? WIth devices such as Navalert, Chettah, and 9500ix that's how. You use GPS to tell you where they are at then this won't happen to you. You'll get a warning.

WHile surfing for an old film, and only finding the film above i bumped across this. A new gadget out there to beat cam's. It works on the same principles as superprotector though? It can be seen clearly striaght on but not from an angle. Although that's where they got you. You have to be able to see it clearly straight on. I think the only option now would be a plate flipper.

Here is the new gaget though it's called the Loover? Akward but interesting.

in another post there was a video of someone who designed a louver to go over the plate. It pretty much even at the readflex angle. Take a look at loover.com. There is another post in this section about someone who made a LCD plate shield which I think is the thing I might be more interested in. It makes to plate black which is perfect for the laser guns.

don't know. Don't know anyone who has acquired one. I tried for a while but no one responds. Probably was a venture that went bust but the information hasn't been taken down yet.
