I remember this incident several years ago when I was being questioned by a LEO after being stopped for some BS and he noticed the PBA stickers on my car. He asked if I donated to them regularly and I answered in the affirmative. He seemed pleased by this and he let me off with a verbal warning.
Does anyone else roll with them?
I've read some contradictory things such as some LEOs liking this and being more lenient. I've also heard that some LEOs harbor a grudge against this organization (can't recall the exact reason why) so they may think you're a tool for donating to them.
A standup comedian once made a joke about illegal immigrants hearing a rumor that these sticker were the equivalent of "get out of jail free" type deals and then totally plastering their vans with them.
