How can i remove Trapster from a GPS? I am borrowing my parents this weekend and want to download it to their Garmin and then remove it. Thanks for any tips!

You don't really put the Trapster program on the GPS, you just load points of interest that are generated from their map of high enforcement areas and red light/speed cameras.

To load them, you use the Garmin POI loader, which also has the ability to remove all custom POIs.

The same way you add the POI's you can remove them when your done just delete the folder you put on it when you are done and they will be gone.

The Garmin POI Loader is used to put the POIs associated with the Trapster info. One of the options when you first start the process is to remove the existing POIs.

That is all you need so long as your parents have not added their own POIs

I tried the Trapster and did not like it so im testing the PhantomAlert. It cost me 39 for a year. So far I find its accurate, from what I see alot of people in Tampa, Fl must be using it. I've had 4 speed traps show up with the cops actually sitting at the locations.

It is odd that you would not like something that is free and generally in most areas works very well and then you would opt for a system that has less subscribers especially when it is a subscriber based system and them want to pay for it.

Sniff... Sniff... I smell something fishy.
