Just got my Cheetah GPS Mirror yesterday night
The box is small and not big.
The mirror looks bigger than i thought and it is much better than the original car mirror in terms of view. I can see much better what is around me. Driving at night is also more pleasant now with cars behind me with their strong lights on.
It was very easy to update the GPS mirror with the latest software on it. It is also free to do that because the mirror comes with lifetime of free updates
The only thing is that i still did not get a chance to test its photo camera finding ability yet because i did not drive next to a photo camera since i got it. But planning to do that tomorrow or day after and cant wait to see how it will warn me. I will be taking a video of the encounter.
I like the way that the car speed is showing on mirror and that you can set min and max speeds.
I also like the radar integration ability and looking forward to connect it to a STI Driver in near future but i have to order one first.
Once installed in car, you can hardly tell something is there that is unusual. My brother went in car and did not notice i added anything to interior. This is great where i live because radar detectors are illegal and i will be able to control radar from the mirror once they are integrated together.
Buttons are easy to reach while driving.
Only negative thing about mirror is that the 4 silver square buttons on bottom are not tight in place and you can hear them vibrate while driving because they are loose. They hit the sides around them once in a while with the vibrations in the car. But it is not a huge sound or big deal. It would of have been nice though if that sound did not exist.
Also, the fact that the buttons are loose and their material makes the mirror look a bit cheap. But once plugged in, it performs very nice with the light display, which does not look cheap at all.
So i will post back once i test the unit with the photo camera location and good job Cheetah for developing this nice product
