Cheetah will not update...

So i got my cheetah c50 in today, and i followed all the steps, but when i go to update it, it says it does not see a gps, so i read some info on cheetah, and i needed a driver, i click the link to download the driver and it takes me back to home screen, so im SOL on updating...is there any other way i can download the driver?

both links take me to the homepage i did just purchase the download plan GOLD, and it says it may take up to 24 hours? could this be the issue or?

I purchased the platinum but yes i did have to wait 24 hours for Cheetah to verify and activate the data base. of course once your database is active you have to log in and you will receive an email with a link to download the software tool.

Thanks Cactus! Well i located the driver over in the internet, so i made all my settings, just waiting till I am able to update! Pretty excited haha. But I have tested it out so far and I love it, I love the V1 too, just gotta program it!

Congrats on a super purchase and a quality product. I too am using the c50 in conjunction with my V1. Did you find your driver on the Chettah website?

Well my computer searched it with a Wizard installer so it downloaded it, but now I am just waiting for my service privileges to kick in. I talked to Al of Speed Cheetah and he helped me out, customer service is def awesome! He is going ahead and getting my account privileges up and running. He had to make a call to the UK. So pretty awesome! So in about 20-30 minutes I should be updated and up and running! Yeah I love the V1, I was contemplating if I should of gone with the Escort 9500ix, but now that I have tested it and compared it to my older 8500 x50, I am sure I made the right choice with the V1. I know some people think the arrows are pointless. But IMHO I think it is a very important option and including the bogey counter, I truly think the V1 is the best, and it's an amazing combo with the Cheetah C50. I am def. glad I purchased these two items. Now to move on to Veil and a jamming system which will be in about a month or so. But over all I am ecstatic about my purchase from Cheetah and Valentine. Both great products...now I got to hard-wire it.
