I've read both sides of the argument regarding whether or not HIDs have any substantive impact as a countermeasure, and it appears that the general consensus is, they do not.
I wanted to know peoples opinions on whether or not projector headlamp housings have any impact on a LIDAR guns ability to get a reading from the headlights. Projector headlamps traditionally exclude reflectors, so I would think that would cut down on the likelihood of getting any LIDAR punch through. What do you think? Has anyone done any tests? Do you think it would be worth testing?
