TomTom XXL 550T speed-camera software/questions!
So i sold my old POS 3.5 inch Motorola GPS. I want a new one with a large screen. I saw the TomTom (XXL 550T) on sale ($99) for black friday. Its afforadble and it seems nice/got okay reviews....
Have you had good expereince with Tom Tom?
Has anyone used Tom Tom's software for redlight cameras?
Also, this unit does not have a SD card slot, but does have 1GB of internal memory. Is the sufficient to load custom POI's from Trapster?
Thanks

Re: TomTom XXL 550T speed-camera software/questions!
Well, I have 3 TomTom's 540XXL's and love them. I Use PhantomAlert, and Trapster on all of them. I put both on so that if one misses a location the other one has it. TomTom is great because it allows you to customize the alerts. I also have the traffic on each unit and find that it works well. Yes it has plenty of memory. Just don't load the whole US Just do the areas you drive in and if your going to make a trip add the new info. What area's are you traveling in. PM me and I can hook you up with the Phantom Alert Data.
