    That's dumb. 1st: What if the mobile radar is on median, clocking from the left...

    2nd: Don't need to buy that, you can build one super easily for yourself
    3rd: This guy might want to hide his plate...

    Well you make a valid point, but in the illustration it shows a camera from the left and one from the right. So maybe it works both ways?

    How can you build one of these yourself?

    That thing is awesome.I totally agree that it can prevent photo radar tickets.At that 20 degree angle it should work both ways.

    The problem I see with those hiders is their obviousness , here we get an automatic
    ticket if they see any material on the licence , even a clear plastic.

    Anyone had tried infrared leds @ 850nm , placed all around the plate ,
    at the flick of a switch would it blind a camera ?

    I have wondered if that would work to blind the camera. Since it has the cameras most likely have a low lux lens, it could be possible. In the light or the dark.
