HE actually took your plate off? I would have expected him to tell you to do it and sit there while you did. I am rather shocked that he would actually take it off your plate himself.

It was on the Baltimore Washington Parkway South bound (Between Wash DC and Baltimore).

I expected it from DC not Maryland though, guess he needed to fulfill his quota today. I really think that it does not obstruct the plate that much. He was able to call it in from behind with no problem prior to stop.

Why do you have it on your rear plate? Do you also have one on the front? In MD they seem to always be shooting laser at the front only... and then the cops never normally see the front if you are pulled over. I assume you were pulled over for something else? I would be shocked if the cop pulled you over for the lasershield... it's hard to see when you're moving.

LOL, sorry man. It's been a long couple of days. Was a little too out of it when I read your original post. Anyways, that makes sense he wrote you up for it then, the law passed not too long ago in Maryland and they've been trying to crack down on it (even though they don't have many cameras yet if any). I'm still shocked the LEO took your plate off himself though.

Did the officer hand you the plate cover back? I can't believe he pulled you over for that.
