So I was researching fines yesterday, and I ran across the rules concerning the photo radar in Colorado. So far, I believe they only use it for stoplights and stopsigns, but the rule is VERY clear about several points.

1. The fine is $40. No matter what you did.
2. The information NEVER goes on your record. At all.
3. Because of #2, you get no points on your license for photo radar tickets.
4. Because of #3, your insurance never goes up.

Holy revenue-generators Batman! They're not even TRYING to disguise it as safety-related.
