Heh. For stationary radar DC police use cars equiped with computers and radar equipment (i.e. it's not just a radar and camera on a tripod, it's built into a car). They parked one on the street of one of my friends. In one day the neighbors had beat it so badly with baseball bats and power tools that at the end of the day it had to be towed away.

ok hope some one can answer this or tell me what they are here in tulsa,ok they have photo camers but i dont know if they are radar or not but my whistler goes off on ka,band but only at one camera the other ones dont sett my detector off at all could this be photo radar or no?
they are being put up on top of the stop lights its getting big here. if they are photo radar hope valentine one picks up all the photo cameras i guess my whistler 1730 does its best at picking up ka band the other ka,alert was from a cop though but not this one just to clear that.
If they are on top of traffic lights those are more likely red light cameras rather than photo radar.

thank you Richard yes they are on top of the traffic lights is there anyway to protect myself how do those red light cameras work please give me more info or where to look for products to be safe against red light cameras.
ok i found out what i need for protection for the red light cameras its called
overhead protector and RadarRoy sells them i will be buying one soon.
so i guess the camera takes a picture if you pass a red light am i right?
they are all over tulsa i wonder whats next does anyone else have red light cameras in there town and has anyone been caught with one?
