You know how some cars go down the highway and cause a cloud of smoke and you can't see a d a m n thing infront of you. How about that for our cars. Get a glycol based solution to do the same for red light cameras or maybe even speed cameras. When the picture snaps nothing but white fog is shown. If you can generate enough smog you might even be able to even dirty out the lenses on the cams. Have the fog generator or pipes sit close to the license plate area to ensure that's fogged over the most.

WOAH!!!! You know I was just reading about E-cigarettes and that's what they use to exhale a vapor that looks like smoke but is really just vapor that disepates a few seconds later, and to be honest the e-cigarette mechnasim and design is pretty cheap, and if we had some way to do this in a larger quantity that might actually be a good idea, maybe an add on for the new flashback device would be awesome, especially if you could rig this by your tailpipe or something so that it would just look like your car was putting out white smog like it backfired for a second or something, sure you're risking a fix-it ticket for 'smog', but that's better then a redlight/speedcam ticket

They will come out with something better than smog generator but good idea though.

They already have the perfect red light camera device. It's the one that uses electrochromic glass, although I haven't seen it marketed effectively yet.

My idea was along the same way .

Behind the plate is attached an evaporator that would
bring the plate to sub-zero temp + a spray nozzle that
would shoot water on the plate ....this would result in a instant
iced plate .... dont have any idea if it would obscurate enough ?

Never been tested but if someone could elaborate ....
easily tought but harder to do

For the smoke , one can find easy recipe for a smoke b om b
made of sugar .... but at speed the flow would be rapidly
dissipated

You only need about 2 seconds, the dissipation would take probably 3 - 4

Doesn't seem very ideal to me, because you have to remember to engage it. If you can remember to engage it, you can remember to stop for the light just as easily.
