Default Redflex Traffic Systems Inc.

Redflex Traffic Systems Inc. based out of Arizona is going to put cameras in my city (Rochester, NY) as soon as some things get settled with the city council or whatever. Anyway, does anyone have a good license plate shield to render these cameras useless? Thanks!

Shields don't work against redflex cameras, they record a 12 second infra red video loop which means they can read a plate that's got a cover on it, simply by moving the video forward frame by frame.

I'd recommend you check out other GPS options for alerting the cameras in advance so you are not caught unawares.

Will the software on that update automatically every time a new camera is in place? If I buy it now it would seem it wouldn't have the new cameras in place when they are put up.

You plug it into the PC and do an update once a month, or however often you want to. Updates are released at least once or twice a week.

Yeah, I should go for that. Does it have Europe maps too?
