New Photo Enforcement in South Carolina?

Just did my ususal drive up the I-95 corridor from Florida to North Carolina. Headed South, at mile marker 22 in SC, trapster alerts to a photo enforcement site. I was never aware of anything like this in SC so I don't think much of it. A few seconds later I spot a old RV tucked under the an overpass with lots of high end photogrpahic equipment pointed at oncoming northbound traffic.

Anyone know anything about this?

That camera setup is blatantly against state law and it's days are numbered. I bet you that when the legislature convenes this year they will explicitly outlaw all photo enforcement in the state.

Either it wasn't there or I didn't notice it when I drove North (December 26)...But it was for sure there when I drove back on Jan 1.
