Redflex GoSafe AGD340 radar reception and range

Sorry to dig up this thread again - but my Redline Escort has packed in, powers up and looks normal, but no detect whatsoever. Nothing. Reset it and checked cable.
Whats the best option getting it repaired? I bought it from Ronin in Latvia - if I need to send it back to the USA Im worried customs will seize it on the way back.

Im using it as protection against the Gosafe in Ireland, so far which unit has proven to be the most effective? The Redline, Valentine V1 or is there something else I could look at?

Hi Tony,

I'd sent mine last Sept to Escort in US for free upgrade. I asked them to return it to my friend in US where I picked it when on holidays. No probs with customs

the biggest difference between Escort Redline INTL RU Àíòèðàäàð Escort RedLine RU and normal Redline is ability to detect pulse radar (e.g. "Strelka"). This type of radar uses military technology and not many RD are able to detect it.
In relation to K band they both have the same spec: K-band 24.150 GHz ± 100 MHz

By the way I noticed more GoSafe vans use low power mode my Redline struggles sometimes to detect them.
