The ZR3 cannot be linked to the Bel V995 but still work as a seperate unit along side the 995 I really dont have a issue with that. Is $319.00 a good price for a ZR3 (New)?

Its like anything else you pay for what you get. Unless Roy is giving you that price I cant say I'd comment on how good it is. Some times especially with Roy if you pay a little more than the lowest guy on eBay the warranty & customer service always make up for the extra cost.Quote:

Zr3 is a good jammer! this weekend I am going to prove that it is... placement is just everything with a LED based jammer!
319 is a good price! Roy is sell Zr3's I believe without the install card is 350 so thats not bad but if its not a trustworthy source I would get it from Roy!
I personally own the Zr3 and I have had many encounters with Leo's close and far I have ALWAYS had enought time to get WELL below the PSL!! especially when I like to go 20+ over!
so its a good choice!
But here is my personal opinion WAIT! more testing will be done soon enough where people will get the whole picture! and can make a better buying decision!
is it easy to install on our own?
The problem with a ZR3 is its so big like all LED jammers. Then you have to do a ghetto install and put the 3RD jammer up front to even make it worth while.Quote:

I've always found that the hardest part for me is getting it ran through the firewall. However my friend told me its possible, to cut awhole through the firewall, then they after you run your cables you can just plug it. The next hardest part for me is the interior work I'm a perfectionist and I have to have everything perfect.
Then, there is the whole story of making sure they are level and pointed straight ahead.
If you have no prior experience I would let a audio shop handle it.

Its not that hard!
honest to god!!
have you ever done any kind of Audio work.... do you know how to pulg into a fuse and find a spot to place your ground wire???
I mean basically all you do if find 12V and ground run your wires through your firewall and place your heads in the best spot for coverage and make sure they are level!
the heads are not that big...
I own a Zr3 and I promise they fit in the palm of your hand!!
the plate one is bigger because its designed to go on your plate!
Make sence right! ...
that would save me alot of $$$.
roy will sell me either one but i want a new unit to jam like the 905 jams-perfectlyu. and ill be getting from him a bel rx65 newest version available-adaptable to the lp-905 if i want to use the new rd unit instead of the bel 995v and use the new zr3 shifter as a seperate and rip the old lp 904 out that still jamms, just too old.. i love the rx65 over passport x50 or ide link them like i havem y lp 905 linked to my 995v and love it. but i want new and zr3 is newest and lp905 are old now-even new ones. dan
