LED array is much cheaper than a single (powerful) laser diode.
Hey mouse thanks for the reply ... so then why doesn't blinder use diodes instead of leds? Wouldn't that make there product even better?
Perhaps - but as mousie said the LED's are much cheaper - and frankly last forever. I do believe the diodes die after like a long ass time.(not quite sure though).
As for better - If two LED's get the job done just as well as a diode - thant hey are going to take that route because they can make mroe money.
The LPP and AL perform much better than Blinder and other LED jammers as far as I know. As mentioned by some before, LED jammers are much cheaper to produce, hence higher profit.

LED jammer can't even jam in long distance, and gets punch through in short distance. If you are going for LED jammer, VEIL is going to be your new best friend.
