I was wondering tho... if someone wanted to disable one of these photo radars, how would you do it that is quick and effective?

I've seen some people put tires/tyres on it and burn it, but that takes time and is VERY obvious.

I was thinking, a bit of black spray on the lens maybe?

I actually go past one most mornings and the camera and flash has had its lens painted black for some time now..hahaa

A bit too obvious... any cop passing by would see the big black bag over it.

I was thinking maybe some kind of shock to it's system or something maybe?

How much you wanna bet the guy on the bike saw the camera, tried to make a panic stop, and then dumped it in the process? Might have been fine if not for the revenue-greedy tax collectors (and perhaps his own inexperience).
