Yeah that's really really old. You basically have no Ka detection on it, not knowing where you live I can't say if that is a huge issue or not.
It's not a radar, but a radar detector 8)
i know and maybe if i show u some pics of it u can see it better the front is VERY blurry but theres 2 switches one tht says audio and down at the bottom is light and in the middle must be both? and the next one is city or hwy and then theres 5 bars each #'ed and then below them is 2 squares that say X and K. i have never used it yet so im not sure how good it is. sorry they r blurrys. my dad got this one in along with some stuff and i go to sioux falls SD alot population is like 130 thousand ish and i do some small town driving too. if any of that helps.

Yeah I would seriously consider purchasing a new RD instead of using that one. If you don't want to buy one, sure you can use it, but don't expect it to save you. Better than nothing.
ok man thanks any idea what is the best and not to expensive. and a Ka detector or detection or whatever u said what is it. and if it wont save me :P then thanks for saying that u probably jus saved me.
dont wanna steal the thread, but how do u post a picture? I did a search, found nothing.
copy the image location and surround it by IMG tags. (press the button above the box)
theres many ways umm imageshack or my fav photobucket.com jus sign up and up load the pics then it give u 3 links. 1 for a link to click another for html tags and one that shows the pic in the post like i have.
