So I was following RCMP using constant on K radar...
(PS just got my STI back today...was anxious to play with that...33.8 fix).
Here's my question. I saw the police car start flooring it and then he lit up and pulled someone over...about 500 feet in front of where he was at the time. There was still several vehicles going the "other" direction, but the guy who was pulled over was one of the very few who was going in the same direction as him...
He did not have visual confirmation of the guy speeding as he was way too far back to judge his speed as there were no other cars going the same way as the speeder.
Did he deserve that ticket?

On another note...
There is a little square in my windshield in the BMW X5. I figured this was because of the infrared reflecting film and that was for the RD. I played with it...there is little to no difference, and mounting it there caused it to be behind the windshield. When testing if I got better reception behind the square or not, it was a 1 bar difference against a false (Safeway) location...
I currently mount it next to the (B?) pillar on the left of the steering wheel (dashboard still). No wipers blocking the way...but no square either..
Which is better?....opinions anyone?

I suggest the LEO just ran the plate of the car in front of him through the computer and found an infraction, nothing to do with speeding. These guys do run plates randomly all the time. I've been pulled over for just having a dirty plate.
