That graph in itself makes absolutely no sense.
Basically the RMR is so great it spends 95% of its time searching for POP and the remaining 5% is all it takes to pick up the rest. This still allows it to be twice as quick as the rest.
But wait. This means that all rds require the same amount to scan for POP. So RMR only needs a fraction of what the others require to scan the remaining frequencies.
This all makes perfect sense. POP is almost undetectable and it probably uses 2Mhz increments to scan the rest. So now you have a very quiet rd with a bad a$$ graph that can be displayed to nonbelievers.
I'm figuring that since the graph likely was produced by RMR rather than by an independent testing facility, it likely is inaccurate anyway!
Since the range on the RMR is limited to 0.7 feet, it's easy to be the fastest.
gotta love graphs that have no X-axis values.
The graph is very misleading.
They are comparing a proposed POP model RMR against NON POP models of every other brand.
I think the last time I checked, the RMR and KAT models did not even respond to POP
They used "Whistle" as the Whistlers brand name... what a bonafied crock.
First off, think what the tag line is saying. Time required to search all radar bands? Well, there isn't even a pop mode in existence on x band, s band, or ku band. There is only k band and ka band pop. The 16ms variety is also not detectable by any current detector (but they didn't tell you that).
Also, who the the hell calls it the pop zone? What the hell is the pop zone? hahahahahahah
Pop is poop and RMR is a terd
RMR is full of more crap than a Christmas goose.
Stick a ferret to your windshield instead. Atleast you will have a companion.

Why is the RMR's gradient green and the rest of yellow-red? :D
I also don't get what the graph is showing :)
If I am reading the blue bar correctly, they are also implying that all detectors, including their own, cannot complete a sweep in under POP time :)
Thanks for unadvertising your products, RMR.
RMR.....making Cobra look good since 1992.
