Frequency Coverage in EURO-mode/VR's answer
About a month ago,I sent a e-mail to Valentine Research, asking them about new X-band option, which they added to ValentineOne in firmware revision 3.864 and lots of other questions about previous firmware revisions...etc.,etc.
Anyways, they were very helpfull and they answered all my questions and more. They also send me a .pdf file about ValentineOne's Frequency Coverage in EURO Mode and in normal "A" (All Bogey Mode)-mode.I know that most of you guys are not interested in EURO-mode,because you don't need it,but I decided to post this anyway, for all ValentineOne users overseas, that use/need EURO-mode.This post should be a Sticky for future reference, because we all know that newbs don't like SEARCH button, but that's up for RD.net Administrators/Moderators to decide.
Note:This is Copy/Paste of Valentine Research .pdf File

Note: I don't know for sure,if rev. 3.851 to 3.858 also covers 34.0GHz+/-40MHz
When I get VR's reply,I'll edit the post.
------------------------------------------------
This is a bit off topic, but I'll post anyway.I am sure a lot of V1's users didn't know that.
Last 3 digits of ValentineOne's serial number will tell you MFG year/series.
Example: Serial Number 6451180430,that means V1 was produced between years 1997 to 1998
Chart:
s/n. -399 from 1992 to 1996
s/n. 400-439 from 1997 to 1998
s/n. 440-599 from 1998 to 2001
s/n. 600 - and up, from 2001 to 2005
I don't have s/n. info for 2006 and 2007 -yet!
I'll update the chart,when I get all s/n. info
