just ordered my STI
cant wait until it arrives, now ill have one of the best radars instead of half-assed attempts :D
Cost me $1000 NZD from an authorised dealer, i could have gotten one off an auction site for $830 - 900 NZD but decided for piece of mind that ill spend the extra $100 or so.

the thing is a tank...it is HUGE and weighs.... Beltronics STi Driver -> 291.6g ( 10.29 ounces
BEL STi driver by Beltronics...really undetectable?
I love mine..i have it hardwired in a jeep so its like 5 1/2 feet or so off the ground

just got it today, my first tests against a K band sign showed that my XR950 has similar detection and against a speed camera today on Ka it also show similar range.
but its early days so i will see how well it performs in the coming months.
im going to hardwire it in directly from the battery so i get a pure power supply for it and the external speaker. maybe that will boost its performance a little.

i doubt it will do that but just mount it high and keep it level and you will be fine..your running highway mode instead of autoscan right?

yip, ive given it a reset to see what firmware it had so maybe that'll fix any little issues as well but yet to test it. A6M9 is the firmware
