I just sold my rx65 and got a v1 and I usually drive with my windows down with the radio quite loud and rely on visual alerts rather then audio alerts to warn me of traps. I wanted to run my main dispaly and concealed display at the same time, having both light up, but a v1 spokesperson said that could not be done. does anyone know how to get both the main and concealed display to both light up? is there some way of bypassing the v1's mode to run in dark mode with the cd?
I wish there was a way, I searched for that, but I found out that there is no way to do it.
As soon as you plug in the CD the main unit's display fades out.
yeah thats what i have been told. i was thinking of some how bypassing that sensor, but there has to be some way.
Why don't you just put the CD in the line of sight?
What are you doing with your concealed display if it's not in your line of sight? Are you using the mute button on it as a remote?Quote:

i dont have a cd yet, the main unit is attached to my visor which is in my general view, but at 20 plus the PSL its hard to hear any alerts. i woud like to have two displays, the main unit on the visor and the cd in the dash, just so i dont miss anything and catch the alert right away.
I'd like to know how to get the V1 to stay on the visor or anywhere for that matter.
Mine wont stay up, I downgraded to 2 15s, 4 of them was raping my SUV, and still the V1 is bouncing all over the place.
So when I want to play my music, I have to take both the RDs down.
