I picked up 34.7 facing away (cop was running the rear antenna on the other side of the road) from a little over a mile yesterday. Pretty impressive for just picking up the return signal from the traffic in the opposite direction. Earlier in the day, I got what was probably about a 1.5-1.75 mile detection range from a cop coming at me in the opposite direction. Probably would have been a little better if he hadn't been coming over a hill, but it still picked up on him right before he crested the hill.
