3-mile 34.7 detection.

I was on the interstate, flat and straight, but a lot of traffic. I got a very weak Ka blip and the ramp-up worked great from there to the point I met the LEO driving in the other direction. We crossed at about 1.5 miles from the original alert the arrows swung from front to side to rear and tracked him for a good amount of time.

About another 1.5 miles from the point we crossed, I was at the top of the overpass he must have just topped when I picked him up.:cool:

I picked up 34.7 facing away (cop was running the rear antenna on the other side of the road) from a little over a mile yesterday. Pretty impressive for just picking up the return signal from the traffic in the opposite direction. Earlier in the day, I got what was probably about a 1.5-1.75 mile detection range from a cop coming at me in the opposite direction. Probably would have been a little better if he hadn't been coming over a hill, but it still picked up on him right before he crested the hill.
