no solid tones, and the multithreat lacks.
Yeah the tones are what I dislike the most on the RX-65. I don't know what they were thinking.
Must have used surplus phone parts or something
100% agree with those comments. Tones on the RX are annoying.. much better on the X50.
I borrowed a mates X50 on a trip the other day and I did like it...the tones are so much nicer than the RX K band tone
still wouldve gotten the X50red. besides the tones, i just dont like the look of it. it just doesnt look like a detector that would be in the "Top 3". i think my old cobra 9200 looks better :) .
Tones and looks huh?Quote:

Sethy, I wouldn't say the multithreat lacks. It is certainly better than most detectors out there, and most can't even track and show 2 or more signals at once. Some people, including myself, find that showing 2/9 etc. is better than another smaller line graph.
I think I read on the forum somewhere that the Tech Display (24.150) on the RX65 tracks and shows multiple signals, where the Spec Display on the X50 does not.
These people are just confused I think. The tech display will sometimes display a few different frequencies for the same radar source.Quote:
