I might get one hell of a deal
A respected BMW forum member is selling his new M27 for $325 shipped....
Just waiting for pics of everything, he says it's new in the box.
Any ways to check that it's legit by looking at the box?
CountermeasuresDirectLLC, can I give you the serial from the box and you can confirm it's good?
:D:D
What he told me

:thumb2: Nice deal! Where do you plan on installing the jammer heads? Once you are finished, get your setup tested.

Thanks. Here are some pics when I had my M20's on. This time I will install the 27's properly and cleaner, maybe cut some of my grill out to have it flush with the bumper.
Should I put the heads a little bit out more away from each other?

Yes, move them farther apart from each other. You may want to consider mounting them vertically in your upper grille. You don't want to recess the jammer heads if you are going to mount them low; if you do, you will be vulnerable to headlight shots. I'd make sure between 1/4 to 1/2 of the jammer is sticking out from under the bumper.
Re: I might get one hell of a deal
Well, it might be kind of hard to mount them in the grill. The wires will have to be router under the hood insulation and I will have to somehow tuck them well to the existing conduit for the windshield washer.
Here is how I can mount it IF possible. By the way, my grills are matte black now.

Re: I might get one hell of a deal
If you mount green, be prepared to buy some Veil. I've tested a couple M5s with low mounted heads. They did well but they had LIs and not Blinders. BTW cover your LP up ;)

:p Don't worry about it.
I'm planning to get veil in the spring when I get new fog lights and headlight covers. But I'm looking at all of the youtube vids and the blinder down there does the job...

Which videos? Please post. Keep in mind: filming and shooting through the HUD of a laser gun takes away from the shooter's ability to keep proper balance and aim properly. This helps out the laser jammer.

Does it really? :(
All of the video regarding "Blinder M27"
