I've noticed it reacts to falses and stationary speed signs around town like my pre 33.8 Ka and ramp up fix STi did. It "seems" as if the STi was "dumbed down" after the ramp-up re-flash. After reading posts how belscort had a new algorithm to suppress falses I thought nothing of it.
Until 1 day I was traveling down a highway that I knew had a K-band speed sign. It was fwd facing. before the ramp-up fix the STi would alert @ ~2000ft. Now it alerts to the same sign @ ~1000ft. The Redline alerts to this sign @ ~2000ft also. And every other false around town is basically doubled, "back" to pre ramp-up fix STi sensitivity.
Anyone think that the STi was dumbed down just so the Redline looks that much more sensitive? They are the same hardware, would't a software tweak make one less or more sensitive than the other?
