I was thinking of running an STi Driver and a Redline together. One only running K band, the other only running Ka band. Any thoughts on this idea?? Crazy or different??

Turning K off on either will have almost no performance gain on Ka.
I think Ka off on the redline improves it's q/t responsiveness a bit for K band; not sure about the opposite.
I think it's a bad idea. I'd either get a redline/v1 by itself, get a redline and v1 (sx4dude combo), or if you can stand an installed unit, get a STi-R plus, which covers both.
From what I've read, the STi Driver is old technology, and the redline is way better with the exception of ramp up.
I have 4 cars, so a remote is out of the question. I am getting antsy waiting on the next big "thing" to come out. Also, I am already getting an STi Driver from a friend for a good price. I've already got a V1.8, but it WILL interfere with an M3, so that's out of the question as well.
Just wanted something new and different.
Maybe I'll just run them both will K and Ka on. That may be fresh.
Am I the only one getting bored with the same old detectors??
