Does the Pro 3600 give a false K alert for X band sources when X band is disabled? This happens on my XTR-695 and since I'm shopping around with the Pro 3600 in mind, I'd like to know if this is happening in this model RD.

Bummer about that. But thanks for the feedback and video. That kinda confirmed what I feared.
I would prefer to turn off detection of X band all the way since it's not an issue where I live. So it looks like the only solution to that issue it to leave X band turned on and run the unit in City 2 mode. According to the manual it says "In City 2 Mode, X-band is not detected." That just makes me wonder if it's "not detected" or "not reported / alerted to".
Even in City2 it will fail... You should recognize this area.

Yeah I went for a little test drive after turning X & K back on and setting City 2. it still didnt work right. :(
