RX-45 First Save, Ka I/O, Blind Curve, CA17-N, 2 second warning, 17-18+PSL
Google Maps (That is where the cop was sitting)
Cop sitting here I/Oing with rear Ka, going 82-83 in a 65 PSL and I got a medium Ka alert as I started to go around the bend, hit the brakes hard and saw him as I reached 65.
I was wondering why I had no warning, as he had been there before and I had had nearly 20 seconds of warning, when the Ka signal stopped. Then it started again. And stopped.
And here I was hoping that CHP didn't I/O because they were lazy.
He was there twice last week, but not mon/tues/weds of this week so I got lazy. Also I was getting Ka when he was there.

the grape vine in socal and highway 17 in norcal are the only two places I've been hit with CHP instant on so far
all other freeways it's always constant on and my STI Magnum is beautiful against constant on stalker 34.7

I passed him last night, same position 7PM, I was going the other direction but I picked him up I/Oing and saw him.
Ka I/O around a blind curve at night >:(

How are you liking the RX45 so far for radar performance? Do you have the laser modules as well?

The detector can only detect an active radar signal. If he didn't turn the radar on until you were close then there was nothing to detect. Around a curve will also limit radar detection because radar is directional and reflects off of objects (may help or harm detection).
The RX45 will be compatible with our Escort Live app/network in a few months. I HIGHLY recommend it if I/O or laser is used in your area.
