Does anyone know Michael B's contact info?
I recently purchased a CR88 which is having issues. Is Michael B still watching the forums? I'd like to contact him as he helped me years ago with several Pro-78 problems, and their location in Massachusetts is close to where I live. I actually took my Pro-78 to him and he fixed it immediately. Fantastic customer service.

I hope that I don't violate a rules of this forum about personal information, asking Michael B's contact information too. I desperately need help with my Whistler PRO-3600. I have one hundred percent working hardware with no probs for years, but recently two wrong decisions cost me completely bricked firmware of this expensive radar detector.
In my case I'm absolutely sure the problem can be solved in just a matter of minutes without many unnecessary actions and steps, but Whistler's support answered me that I must to return the complete box of PRO-3600 so all can be checked out. This exceed the cost of the PRO-3600 with additional modules, with all these expenses, dismantling from my car, payment twice for international shipping, payment for "Service Out of Warranty", reinstallation to the car. And what's the point. It's easier to throw away the fully working hardware. ((
The support even didn't get to the heart of my problem and it's useless to talk to them because they sent me just a 'copy paste' answer. I think that I'm not the only one who has faced a situation with a support, losing time and nerves trying to get real help, sometimes until you manage to break through the wall of template answers and talk to a competent support engineer directly, you can't get a real support.
