DFR1 first detection

I was fortunate enough to get a strong screaming ping on my $41 Uniden. The hit came as I was just going under a train bridge in heavy 35mph traffic. I initially thought something under the train bridge hit me, but in fact a mile ahead I saw blue strobing lights. I could barely see the lights so far away while at a stop light. Continuing on, yep, there was a poor soul talking to a cop at his door. I had nothing else going on so I pulled into a Dodge dealership nearby and pointed my Camaro in the direction of the cop and speeder to see if the cop was running a speed trap. Nope, it was a cop just sitting there to hammer one car.

It's always fun to get that kind of notice from a good detector.
