They use flat paint to avoid reflections but never heard of radioactive paint being used but it's been a while...lol
It might mess you up more than any radar...Actually it might also mess up your detector depending how much radiation is given off...

There's a guy over on Nasioc catching hell for painting his STi with flat black bedliner. I think it looks cool, in a Road Warrior kind of way.
He just used spray paint-type bedliner, not the heavy Rhino Liner. No more worries about door dings, scrapes, hail, or even washing the darn thing. Just hose it off.
I'm thinking about this for my old car. New flat black bedliner should look better than 15 year old paint.
The worst, some loser around here I see painted his 1993 Honda Accord 4-door in grey primer and ripped off the hubcaps. However, he seemed to forget it was PRIMER, and soon after rust was poking through everywhere :lol:
