    Default Is this true?

I was watching the news last night and the said Minnesota now has the Pro Laser 3 that is undetectable by radar detectors , is this true that my rx65 will not pick this up? I know that when your hit with laser it's to late but I still want to know when they bust me !!
    Thanks

Surem it detects the Prolaser III...somewhat:

But it probably doesn't give you much protection against a ticket from a Prolaser III....

This is the story from the news report :

Police across the metro are using a new tool to catch speeders, and it can’t be detected by most radar or laser detectors.
Officer Chad Rosa with the Rosemount Police Department says the new Custom Pro-Laser Three is a speeders worst enemy.
The state recently awarded the Rosemount Police with the new gun, which costs about $4,500.
“This uses a beam of light, so at one thousand feet it's three foot square,” says Rosa. “It's very precise.”
The beam is so small laser detectors won’t detect it.
Rosa says the guns are intended to prevent speeders.
“We want to slow the traffic down and prevent crashes if we can,” he says.
Speeding tickets in Rosemount cost drivers about $100.

    Well looks like...

Jammer+Veil+Lasershield is in order to own the LEO's in your area.

If they really wanna stop crashes, then they need to focus on the inattentive drivers, who aren't necessarily speeding, but doing everything BUT focusing on the road ahead.

I'd be curious to see if a V1 can still pick up some scatter from this laser anyway.

First, the bad news: Laser jammers are illegal in MN, IIRC.

Now, the good news: The ProLaser 3 will not show jamming codes! And.... the ProLaser3 is the easiest of all lasers to jam! So yes, what AirMoore said.

It's surprising that Kustom, mfr. of the PL3, is in financial trouble given that they get $4500 per laser. And I see a lot of their K band radars on the road in my area.

And yes, the V1 can pick up laser scatter better than the competition.

Well I can tell 100% that my old Beltronics 985 RD alerted to the ProLaser III on multiple occasions, for that matter, it alerted to scatter from the traffic ahead of me.

Even my POS Cobra alerts to PL III.
