Default How would you improve the RX65? A constructive post!!

    1) First I would ask Beltronics to PLEASE fix the POP falsing issue. When I use the RX65 with POP enabled it is a joke because the darn thing gives me full blast warnings at various points for no reason whatsoever. In fact I have POP disabled because I can not tolerate the POP falsing issue and in MY AREA the RX65 is unsusable when POP is enabled
    2) Give us GPS
    3) Give us the option to upgrade our detector via a PC
    4) Make it more sturdier and smaller
    5) Spectre invisibility
    6) I want to be able to track at least 4 Ka Band, 4 X band, 4 K band, 4 KU band
RIP Duncan my BELOVED black lab son 8/7/99-3/23/11. I will miss you DEARLY.

    1. More distinct audio tones, with much better gradient
    2. Get rid of that dot matrix display for something more simple and distinct, maybe like the V1's bogey counter
    3. Make it so that it falses more = picks up more threats too
    4. Give it a rear antenna, even if it costs more
    5. Directional arrows would be nice
    6. Software upogrades and advanced programming of features via PC cable
    7. GPS

Professor Jim do you have POP enabled on your RX65? If I am a betting man I would say no

Would be nice, yes, (even for my X50) but can it be done with the patents VR holds?

    Anyway, back on topic....

What benefits would the GPS have, being able to save "false" areas or add "known target" areas? There was a site for that but it wasn't working last I checked.

Currently I do, but I enabled it when I was trying to do a video and it's on the dining room table
In the car I keep flip-flopping on it... I'll leave it on for a while until I get a bunch of falses then I get sick of it and shut it off After a while I forget about all the falses and turn it on again

Honestly I think that they shouldn't have made a special alert for POP, it should be like V1 and just alert like regular radar, so that the falsing doesn't annoy people as much...

Yeah that full blast warnign as frequently as it occurs is annoying. My wife is very impatient. If I would have left POP enabled then she would have thrown it out the window by now and I would have lost $330 and I would be seeing her a$$ in divorce court

When my GF uses the RX-65, the POP alerts are her biggest complaint...

The v1 does the same thing on lazer(full alarm) my Bell does not. It will give you a short alarm if you have just been hit with a few random lazer pulses off of another car and will go full on if you are hit directly. I have experianced this a few times and I like this system a whole lot better... 8)
