I was talking to a traffic leo today in my town. I was asking them what bands they use for radar. I already knew they had X and K. He confirmed Ka and very soon all cars will have radar with instant on. he also said they are getting stalker laser guns. :shock: So yes my town has everything X,K,Ka,Instant On and now laser. I wouldn't be surprised if you see Ku here soon. :roll:

the normal in car moving radars can be used in the instant on modes!

as for the ku bands, may be may be not, at the end of the day all rd's should have all bands at least then you can activate or deactive them.

they say ka band isnt used in the uk but you never know if they may have a ka band handheld radar?

even though radar is not used much in my area i surely wouldnt put it passed them. the only advice is to scan the radar manufacturers for ku band radars, at least them you will have a warning if they do produce a ku band radar, i know some say they wont but you cant be 100% sure they wont!

so you just have to try and stay 1 step ahead of them..

Radar has had instant-on capability for many years now. So unless your town has really old equipment, they already have instant-on.

Unless he's talking about POP. Maybe they are ordering some BEE IIIs? :shock:

Does your town get all their equipment from the same manufacturer (e.g. Stalker, MPH or Kustom?)

I try not to listen to cops when it comes to this. My brother in law's a cop a "D" now but when he was on traffic he use to try and tell me all sorts of Sh!t. I can remember the day when he got his stalker laser gun on my Veil covered Mercedes he reckon he got me straight away "BS" i said "so why did i get 5 laser alerts one after the other eh???????????????????" Dont listen to them. Get protected and give them the finger as you drive by 8)

Eh... how often do you even see police? I rarely see police when in Cherry Hill... just like most towns. And what are they gonna do, sit in the mall parking lot shooting Laser at people on 38 or some store parking lot on 70? Cherry Hill has the money, but laser is still a waste IMO.

I've only seen X and K in my travels. Hopefully for you he's just messin w/ya.

how often are you in cherry hill? i live here and i know there out there. i see them alot now actually not so much before. there are hiding spots to nail speeders especially on the east side. i'm not so worried on the main roads but other roads i am. i have got hit with ka in cherry hill so i know they have that too. now for laser i havn't got anything yet but if it is true that scares me a little. :shock: and i wouldn't doubt it because they do have the money.
