Should i get an STI. I have a V1 and x50 right now but i do miss that voice alert from my rx-65. Plus the STI is supposed to have the best ka-range. If I were to buy an STI Iwould have to sell my x50 due to low funds. So let me know what yall guys think....Keeping all three would not be an option seeing that im about to go to college this fall when money runs low....

Your telling me. Man for a highschool student to have owned all Top 3 is crazy. At least thats what my friends tell me. Yeah particularly if "money is tight" I wouldn't go there. $450 can buy a lot of booze and women :wink:

Especially if you drive with a V1 every day and even more especially if you're in Texas.

i say keep the v1 and x50

you get best of both worlds, one is great for city and the other for highway

both great radar detectors and one amazing laser detector

i would save the money for laser countermeasure, maybe a better jammer

I'm thinking polished wood case, probably mahogany, and you know how they make those ships in a bottle where the masts can be raised and lowered with a piece of string? I'd like a little mast on top of my V1 complete with sail. I mean, if you're gonig to steal the on off switch from grandmas victrola and various bits and bobs from the Apollo space program why not just go the whole post industrial hog and go for... errr... funky? You could program in random little software glitches that junk out real threats just to keep you on your toes and have laser falses coming out the wazoo and then you be sure to attract a devoted throng of really strange individuals through word of mouth on the internet.
