    Default any difference with pop on or pop off?

    anyone? i have bel 995v, does pop on affect performance or rduce range in k and ka bands?

    Yes. I've tested with my 995 on two k speed signs in my area, also with an officer running a constant on Ka. With the k signs, I was getting at the minimum 5 seconds up to 10 sooner alert at 40mph. With the officer running Ka constant, I was getting scatter with POP off one bar in and out for a good 30 seconds sooner at 35mph.


    Oh, while your at it turn SWS too if you have it on. That destroys k band....

    Pop on vs off changed your detection range by ~.30miles. :shock: :shock:
