Saw this one last night at work. . I just happened to walk by and it was preety sweet looking. . basicaly the guy velcro'd his rdd to his dash at its highest point in the middle. Than took a hat, with no metal on it of course - and just threw it over top of it. The only way I could tell that it was there was because he had the face of his detector slightly popping out where the back of the hat is.

I thought it was preety clever, just throwing it out there for those who still haven't found the best way to hide it.

Yeah, I heard of that one too. . but a tissue box IMO is too big. . now if you get the small tiny ones that the schools use. . thats a good hideout.

Duct tape to dash with a rag over it that is the same color as the dash (lights not covered unless prying eyes are around)
I have to find one of those dash pads, anyway when it is time to loose it you just grab the rag and all.
A dash cover might work as well but you would have to do something about the LED end of the unit?

I see people with tissue boxes on the dash, EVERYWHERE. Sometimes they are taxis, OK maybe they have an RD but all the 78 year olds in early-90's Buick LeSabres can't be running with RD's could they? :shock: (and the soccer moms in the Caravans)
