    Default Radarwatch?????

    Roy,

Please follow this link and tell me if this is something that a police dept could use in the future since it is based on time and distance like VASCAR

Do you think something like this could ever hold up in court?

    Default Device

Devices like this are already used. It uses the same fomula Rate x Distance=Speed. Many officers use certified stop watches to do the same thing without the cost.

I had measured out gardrail posts in my area when I was a cop. Then sit on a hill as the vehicles approached and stop watched them. Everyone held up in court.

All there would need on this device is some sort of certification on its accuracy.

Where could one buy a certified device (not a stop watch but something like the radarwatch) and how much would it cost?

Been awhile, but when I was in LE there were several police product magazines that I would get, one was GALS and the other was McCoy's

Try doing a google search with those names for police products
