    Default Future radar detectors

    Hey,
I was reading another radar detector forum (http://www.radardetectorforums.com) and I ran across an article that read:

"But I'm waiting on "Brand X" this summer. I hear they are going to release a new RD that finest ever built. Rumors say it will have:

    -Multiple antennas
-Remote wireless rear unit that mounts in rear window. No special install and portable.
    -Some sort of direction indicator
-A source counter that not only indicates the number of radars but the type up to 4 of each band (X, K, Ka, Ku, and LiDar)
    -Radically enhanced laser detection.
    -Unprecedented Range
-an all new CPU that virtually eliminates falses
-last but not least ...completely undetecable by ANY RDD! Somehow it will have NO "rf" bleed. There will be nothing to detect! "

Any information on this? I wanna know if I need to start setting money aside for that beast

    Thanks,
    Bill 8)

    shhh shhh shhh....

I hope the model lives up to those claims. In any case, I am looking forward to this "spectre invisible" thing.

I'd like to see the price tag on that puppy. but the features make it look very appealing...

It doesn't really matter if the detector is spectre proof because that will only last about 2 months till the Spectre's firmware is updated to detect the new detector that is allegedly detector proof.

Unless all LO emissions have been eliminated. That, I think, is the only permanent solution.

That description sounds wildly optimistic, so I'm not about to get my hopes up. It's as if someone went through one of our "how would you improve this detector" threads and created a "real" brand-x description.

yeh whatever they're describing sounds too vague to be true. it sounds like a badly worded feature list from a company known to make crap.

-an all new CPU that virtually eliminates falses
there's no way to completely eliminate falses. door openers are sources too.. the one it doesn't think is a cop is the one you get nailed with.

    -Radically enhanced laser detection.
enhanced from what? enhanced is another comparative word that means nothing if you don't compare it with something else or be more descriptive.

i think i'll be sticking with my v1 for now...

Of course if Brand X is successful in producing this "Wonder Unit"
....wait until they hit us with the MSRP
