    Default Make your own Rabbit

I have noticed a trend, something that happens almost every single day on the way to work.

I cruise about 12mph over the posted speed limit on the expressway, usually in the middle or left lane.

without fail there is always someone who is moving faster than me and comes up behind me, I let the vehicle get close to me then i move right over and let them get by ------ but just as quickly as I moved over to let them pass I get right back into the lane behind the vehicle

this seems to really irritate the person who just passed me, lol and they always try to be tuff and speed out of sight ------ creating a fast moving rabbit useful to coax out those sneaky selective troopers who are stealthed out until they laser or instant on traffic.
On a side note I really can't think of a logical reason why the idiots get so pissed, its like they want to pass you and want you to stay over in the other lane like a little biotch ------ like it hurts their poor little ego when you basically give the impression to them of "yeah you wanna pass me so bad, then MOVE your ass"

    anyways, just an observation.

it sounds as if you are describing 99% of the drivers I encounter that are from Illinois. I think it is the metro area "keep up with the jones'" mentality, or a good case of One-upedness.

Use them to your advantage, but wouldn't it be fun to give'em a little k-band zap once in a while to see if they are using rd's blindly, or if they are just that stupid to speed at that rate fully clueless & unprotected?

I check the dash on almost everyone who passes me, I only see a RD 1 out of 10 times, these people are just idiots pretty much, only once have I seen a top tier model, usually little gimp cheapy RDs

I happens in Texas too. (That and no clue what a turn signal is)

Nothing for miles, open highway, it never fails. Someone will come screaming up on my bumper, sit there tailgating for 15 miles, THEN pass and immediately slow down 100 yards in front of me! Whiskey Tango Foxtrot???

Asked a retired state trooper friend about that phenomenon....he didn't know the answer either...

I like it better when they are good little rabbits and find the bear for me cause I hate living up to my screenname

Default to many rabbits in china......

i've always called it sweeping or basically letting the fastest vehical lead...out of the fry pan, right into the fire. when on the bike though, it's not that important, but i still do it when i'm not familier with the road sometimes.
as for the champions who fly in front and slow down, i don't know why, it's just human nature. it would be pretty boring if we where all as perfect as us, lol
    speed like you mean it.
