okay deciding between the pro73/xtr560 and the bel 955....

i want something for little $$ but still can hang with the better performers. my main car has the v1 now and i love it but i just cant shell out that kind of money for this knock-around car... i read great reviews about both so far and i can get either for around the same price with the bel at 36$ more than the whistler. the bel 955 being 140$ and the whistler is 104$ for the xtr560 and 113$ for the pro73...no these are not ebay and yes they are authorized... but ive narrowed it down to these opinions please...?? thanks

well i have the 955 and i dont know where you can get it for $140 :? but i got mine for $180+tax. so far it has been a great detector just stay away from cobra and rmr and you'll be fine

you should get the bel 985, it's awesome on Ka or maybe an x50

budget here is about 150$$ and yes i can get the 955 authorized for 140... just cant say how here...not much markup on them compared to some others..so is the concensus for 150 or less the 955 would win over the whistlers?? i was told they did very well this year with the newer xtr's.. and even the pro73 was no slouch from what i saw... i usually would only but the top models but dont need them here and dont want to spend the extra money for a beater car.. i own the v1 in my normal daily driver...
