What's the cost of a MPH Z-25 & Z-35 radar?
What's the cost of a MPH Z-25 & Z-35 radar?
Z-25 = About $1000 USD
Z-35 = About $1200 USD
That's pretty cheap, considering a Stalker ATR goes for over $2k.
Let's just hope that any depts. that buy them don't discover that little feature that starts with a "P"...

The Z-Series really isn't all that popular...
Nice price for a state of the art doppler equipment concerning value for money always, because its design sucksssssss!!!
Another reason I don't think it is popular with LE is the fact that it is a stationary handheld radar gun only. It's a good thing they are not popular because there is no detector that can provide sufficent protection from the 16ms POP mode on the Z25 & Z35.
They look like toys in the pics on the website... maybe that's why they aren't popular.
OTOH, a LEO using one could nab more speeders even without using POP. Cars driving by would think the cop is aiming a toy space-ray gun at their cars and think "ahh, no threat, I won't slow down"

Is this the same POP that's not admissible(sp?) or is it a different variant of POP?Originally Posted by kpatz
No POP is admissible, whether it is the 16ms Z25/Z35 or the 67ms BEE/Enforcer.Originally Posted by radarTom
