Well i rented the Marksmen 20/20 from Suf Daddy, the exact gun Outrun was using. Well i got in a wreck over the weekend and my car is getting worked on. So i got bored today and jumped in my old '82 Cevy pick up. I decided i would go shoot people on the DFarm to Market road my house is on. I drove down a little bit and took a side road. I turned around and rolled down the windows 2/3 way down so i could get a good rest. I had plain staight strecth of road, except fo a bunny hill. I could shoot people 3204 ft. away. It was fun seeing the amazing range of this gun. Also as people drove by and i shot them and you should see how people react. They look over "damn i didnt think that was a cop, i just might have gotten a ticket". Alot of the people slowed down when they passed and i could see them flash their lights to other drivers. A couple of cars turned around and turned down the road i was on, to see what i was doing. I have an old CB radio so i acked like i was calling speeds to a waiting hiding LEO. Also a jogger ran by and turned back and asked me what i was doing. I told him my father was an retired LEO and i was using one of his guns, getting the Average speeds of drivers to see if the sheriff dept. needed to set up a speed trap. Also he thought i was shooting radar and i gave him the whole scoop on the laser gun and how hard it was to be detected by radar detectors. He also told me he was looking to get a RD and i mentioned the V1,rx-65,X50. Told him to stay away from Cobra!!!!!
Posted Speed Limit : 55 mph
Average Speed reading: 62 mph
Slowest: 32 mph
Jogger: 7 mph
I had some problems doing that by my car. Try using a portapower unit outside your vehicle. This is so no one thinks you are pointing a gun at them. A lot of people seem to get scared for some reason when a "Civilian" points a radar/laser gun at them for "KICKS". Be careful!!!
Use your Bushnell K band to check the speed accuracy of the LIDAR.
Also tune your radio to 100.1 and see if you can hear the radio interference when you trigger the LIDAR....
3000 feet on a person? DAMN.
3204 ft. I was impressed    . I'll take some pics of the location when i get a chance.
What about the 100.1 freq?
Tune the radio to 100.1 and see if you can hear interference when you pull the LIDAr trigger..........
