x2, They are illegal, but it all depends on who sees it and when they see it. Many LEO's dont give a hoot to be honest with you... with that said they are illegal and you can be tickted for it.

Honestly a guy I knew was speeding and a LEO pulled him over... and instead of giving him a speeding ticket he gave him a dirty lisence plate or an obstructed lisence plate (dont remember). The LEO was really looking for drunk drivers, so he just let them know plate covers (blue tint) are illegal but instead of a speeding ticket he would just give him the aforementioned ticket so all in all it worked to his benefit.

well i drive a blue 06' range rover and i am wondering if you think it wil help at all having a LS (i already have veil). It's a big car so i'm not sure if it will make that much of a difference. thanks

Laser Shield might help alittle but you really need a jammer

If you've spent 80-90 bucks on veil you might as well spend another 20 and get the lasershield. If I were you I would definitely get it. If laser is a real issue in your area then you surely need a jammer, but get a lasershield in the meantime. It will help your jammer when you get it, and it will provide protection (along with the veil) until you get the jammer.

that was me, 100% dont do it if you live in NYC cause the meter maid's will catch you. if you live in NYS and park your car in private parking areas you will be ok.
