    Default Ford Taurus and Ka

Does anyone have a Ford Taurus and noticed that their Ka range was decreased dramatically. I have a 2006 rental that got an alert of Ka today just seconds (like 2 or 3) before I saw the LEO in the middle of median on 95N above Richmond.

Does the Taurus have one of those instant-defrost windshields? Or a metallic tint? Either of these can kill detection range.

If speed kills, how come I'm still alive?

Naw, as far as i can tell, it is a normal windshield. Ka sucks on my detector anyways. But today was extra bad, thank god for my CB
